Hi. My name is Katie Marie Metcalfe and I am a recovered anorexic and the author of Anorexia: A Stranger in the Family. I suffered from anorexia from the age of fourteen to twenty and I am twenty two now, so have lived with it a large portion of my life and know exactly how difficult recovery can be for everyone involved.
Life after Anorexia has been set up to help, motivate and encourage recovering anorexics and educate and support their families and friends. I also intend to provide knowledge to anybody who wishes to know more about anorexia, a life threatening illness which affects millions of people worldwide. I really hope that I can pass on good advice, loyal support and worthwhile guidance to anyone who needs it.
