Hi. My name is Katie Marie Metcalfe and Life After Anorexia is my self-help site about the illness anorexia nervosa. I suffered from anorexia from the age of fourteen to the age of eighteen. I am now twenty, and recovered. I hope to provide really good advice, loyal support, and loving care to anyone who needs it. I am also providing you with the opourtunity to have your own poetry, pictures, stories and messages displayed here, should you want to express how you are feeling though words and art.
Life After Anorexia is not only for recovering anorexics, but for friends and family, struggling to cope, or for anyone who wishes to have better knowledge of this illness which ruins so many lives worldwide. I like to call this site an open house. Well, I suppose that it is an open site really, but you get the picture!
